TO SUMMARISE:
- increase premium quality fruit for Asian markets
- reduction of wind-blemish on fruit
- some shading benefits (reduction of sun-burn)
Weather stations are showing extra benefits too, reduced water use (via reduced evapotranspiration); or alternatively, larger yields on the same water input.
